This used to be a place where 53RG10-sama also posted his thoughts on singles and albums, but that was too time consuming and he says he sucked at “reviewing”, so instead he’ll just post some random stuff here and there. 
I am this blog’s mascot Suisei and I’ll be making an appearance on most post here! ^_^ I really dunno what I’m supposed to do here, but 53RG10-sama chose me to be the mascot instead of Naomi and Yui, so I’ll try my best to make this blog lively and fun for you guys!

Hi there, I’m 53RG10 owner of both Deciphered Melody and Open Your Mind. Currently, I’m [self] studying Japanese and translating songs to practice Kanji recognition and understanding. I used to do it in secret, those files were kept away from the internet and were used only by me.
But I thought it would be better to help the masses out by posting my translations, even if they were sub par…at least the readers would get an idea of what the song is about! And so my second blog, Deciphered Melody, after after a name change, was born!
Technically, this is my FIRST blog, this was the first blog I registered, but because I wanted the name “53RG10″ to be in the address instead, I put this one on private, left it alone, and made a new one, Open Your Mind.
Since I have the account already, I might as well put it to good use!
And so I welcome you to “Deciphered Melody”! Hope you enjoy your stay here!

If you want some songs, just email me (assuming the email block for comments is accessible to you.) I can grant you access to a few files if you’re interested.
Be warned that A LOT of my files aren’t properly named or tagged, so you’ll just have to go by the album/folder names.
If you want some recommendations, I can offer. (I’m also a Mizuki Nana fan.) Though there’s plenty of my collection I haven’t actually listened to yet…At least not in entirety.
I own the vast majority of my collection in hardcopy original, and still have access to about half of the liner and lyric sheets (the others being in storage…some where…), so I COULD get you scan of the lyrics too…Assuming I bother to re-install my scanner…
